Overcrank Media is a creative production company based in Bali/Indonesia., known for high-quality video storytelling. After several years of running a successful website, the team reached out to Kembar Digital for technical upgrades—primarily around compliance, performance, and backend stability.

Our first mission was to bring the site up to date with current privacy standards. We implemented a fully custom GDPR cookie popup, developed without relying on third-party plugins. The GDPR notification was hardcoded, giving the client complete control over styling, logic, and performance—ensuring a clean front-end experience without additional bloat or tracking issues.

In addition to the compliance layer, we reviewed and adjusted key elements in the backend infrastructure, resolving compatibility issues, improving responsiveness, and applying general updates that would have otherwise required considerable internal resources.

This was not a ground-up build, but a technical rescue mission—taking over an existing website and refining it without disrupting the core structure or design. As the client shared:
